Online rap video leads to gun, drug bust
OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) — Detectives with OPD’s Gang Suppression Unit and SWAT rounded up three suspects Wednesday night faced with charges that range from weapons violations to drug possession and child neglect.
Law enforcement officers moved in with search warrants targeting a residence in the 2500 block of Lizzie Robinson Avenue and another in the 1900 block of South 28th Street. Officers had developed information indicating there were narcotics and guns at those homes after a rap video was posted online.
During the operation officers located two rifles, two stolen handguns, ammunition and marijuana. Officers found two young children unattended at one residence where marijuana and a loaded rifle were accessible.

C’mon Matthew Smith! Be better for me! I have been your number one supporter since day 1. You have to include the link to that entire music video! Nobody loves bad Omaha rap videos more than me. I mean look at this crew
Is there any doubt that this is hottest rap trio to hit Omaha since Lucky Charm, Flo Cain and Whyte Myke hit the scene? Basically Omaha has its very own version of the Fugees on our hands here and the cops are out there holding them down.
Gotta love this quote from the article
“Kanger said he’s concerned that videos like the one the suspects posted is leaving a lasting impression on the city’s youth.”
Check yourself Kanger. Think outside the box a little bit would you? This “rap video” is a positive thing as far as I’m concerned. From the little glimpse of the video in there I think their music video should be serving as an active deterrent for what not to let become of your life. Show it in 7th grade “G.R.E.A.T.” classes. Let it serve as the modern day Reefer Madness.
I can’t wait to eventually see the entire thing. It looks like a modern day classic. Until then, drop the beat…
